Cheers for all those people who came out and supported us at Motorvation 2008 this year. We had a great time!
We ran a stand in Lane 5 with our usual setup of Marquees, Fridges, Couches, BBQ's and of course..... a great line up of cars.
Pretty sure we will not be allowed back next year though. We caused a bit of a stir with running a Wet Tee Shirt Comp on Saturday night. By about 7PM it was well known around the pit area that it was going to happen and attracted a massive crowd. We estimated about 500+ watch about 5 girls in the comp and the clear winner was obvious with the reactions! It was soon shut down by Security...... well not the male security (they were enjoying it too much).
Saturday night then turned into a outdoor night club with Supra WA turning up the volume and cranking out some great music over the pit area. Some people enjoyed it while others yelled as they tried to sleep. Not many of us will remember that night, but from what I do remember we all had a great time!
Sunday came around and everything started to slow down..... except for the burnouts! Plenty more to do but has the heat set in we went for cover and rested. Then we got stuck into packing up and heading home to recover. Great weekend for all, burnouts, babes, booze and good blokes. See you all next year!

Congratulations to Lewis for grabing a 11.35 in his 2002 HSV VX Clubsport 427 ci LS7 at the Perth Motorplex last night. Represtenting WA Kustomz he was throwing out low 11s all night and it was a great sight to see.
Pretty much the only stock thing left of the LS7 is the block and the intake manifold. It has ET heads, a Callies crank, Scat rods, Ross Pistons, a Comp cam and the list goes on. It's a bit of a weapon.
The car had no special setup and was sporting full street trim. Just standard clubby springs, normal Koni shocks with slicks and front runners. The only weight removal at all was the spare. The car still had the full stereo, fire extinguisher, even dash and floor mats. It also had a full tank of fuel. So with minimal weight removal and some practice he is aiming at running a 10!

Cruise to Event from Manduarah We will be running a cruise from Manduarah to the first meet point. For details please look at here.
Details MEET 7:20am - Doddies Beach; Mary St, Mandurah LEAVE 7:40am MEET 8:10am - Baldivis Shopping Centre; Safety Bay Rd, Baldivis LEAVE 8:25am MEET 9:15am - Powis St Carpark; Powis St, Uhh... Perth-ish. [Left off Mitchell Fwy onto Powis; Left Straight Away Into Carpark] LEAVE 9:30am ARRIVE AT ECU 10:00am If you cannot make it to the first or second meet point, we encourage you to head down towards the City to meet up with us so we can all arrive together. We intend to arrive at 10am to try to partially claim some parking space for our group.
I can only presume that the car park will be getting maxxed out around 10am but hopefully we can be accommodated with a 40 odd car portion, should all go well on the day. We've never had issues with this bunch bailing on the wet weather but then again, we do have some cars that may suffer from traction issues on the day if it's not dry.
We will also talk to the event co-ordinators about possibly having 1 or 2 representatives pay on behalf of all attendees for those who are interested. There will be a huge registration line and if we can compile individual details of all cars, drivers and monies donated, this will give you all more time to look at the other cars (ie, [AGIT8D] - haha!) and spend less/no time in the line waiting to register. Final call on this is up to SC management.
Finally, bring your CB radio. We'll be on air throughout the day.
I have been working on and creating a new website to bring all the different sections of our site into one. We now have a main page where everything can be viewed from a few clicks.
I have managed to keep all usernames and details as well as all posts so nothing has been lost.
Login on the lest hand side and you will have access to the forums.
If you notice any problems please email me at phil@wakustomz.com and I will try to fix them as soon as possible.
Take a look around and give me some feedback of what you think of it. I will continue to build on it making it better as we go. It may not look as flashy as the old site but it is much easier to use and a lot easier for us to manage.
